[She took a little while to find people in some cases in her scrapbook. Eventually, though, she'd tracked down Allura and wanted to send a message her way, to try and re-establish contact.]

Allura, is it? [sigh] I'm sorry if I haven't been in touch lately. I seem... to have lost my memories again. But, we do know each other, don't we?

[Groan] This is never not awkward and uncomfortable, I'm sorry.

[ It isn't often people use video calls with her--mostly texts--but she answers this one readily. ]

[ Wait, what? ]

What do you mean "again"?

[Another sigh and she tried to offer her a reassuring smile. it wasn't really working on herself, but she tried.]

Apparently, last month, I'd lost my memories of home when I'd died... and when it happened again, I seem to have lost all of my memories, or almost all, from before a few days ago.

[ She...hadn't realized that they could lose their memories in death. Memories of their death? Yes, Allura took some time to recover hers. But memories entirely?

That's likely not what Vira-Lorr wants to hear right now, though. ]

I'm so sorry. I had no idea that something like that had happened.

[It would just be confirmation of what she already knew now. The condolences, however, were appreciated. She sighed and shook her head.]

From what I've put together, it probably happened near the end of the riots. I'm not sure how exactly, and I don't know that I want to find out. That all ended, after all, so it may be better to let it lie.

You must have fallen victim to the locals...

[ And she wasn't the only one. ]

It had been a tumulus, violent time.

Yes, that must have been what it was. There were so many of them, that it has to be that. It's not hard to be taken by surprise after all.

[She wasn't actually sure, but she was also willing to accept that explanation. much better in her mind.]

I can only imagine right now. I'm glad you're ok right now?

It was. Danger was everywhere. But I'm so sorry you had to suffer the worst of it. We may return in this place, but that doesn't make death any easier.

[ She's only died once and doesn't want to repeat it. ]

Yes, I'm alright. I made it out intact.

It's ... not alright, but I will be ok, Allura. I appreciate you thinking of me, though. And I am more glad to know that you didn't come to serious harm. I worry about others in this place going through what I'm going through.
