I find the weather here to be pleasant enough, though it could be a little warmer.

I'm perfectly fine, but thank you for the gesture. It's akin to some of the milder seasons we had on Altea, actually.

It never got that cold. I've only seen snow off planet on rare occasions.

If we really are somewhere like "Maine", then... the winters can be bad. A lot of snow, a lot of storms.

[Not to mention the times it's snowed here randomly for a few days.]

[ She really hadn't even considered how different the weather might be. All the descriptions of the Garrison had been hot and desert, and this place had been relatively mild. It seemed decent enough.

But snow?

That's what I've heard, anyway. I never visited in the winter.
